Emancipation Impact Network is a 501(c)(3) decentralizing collective working to abolish the prison-industrial complex by centering the people most impacted by incarceration. We’re using new technologies, storytelling, and shared resources to connect incarcerated folks, their families, and advocates, building real relationships, shifting narratives, and creating space for healing, education, and action.

Right now, we operate with a small team guiding our core programs and partnerships. But our long-term vision is to decentralize power and participation, aligning how we function with the values of collective liberation and community-led change. We’re working toward a structure where leadership, decision-making, and resource-sharing are distributed across the network, with the insight and experience of system-impacted people at the center.

Our first project, Peer Pal, pairs people inside with supporters on the outside to build empathy and solidarity through direct conversation. This is just the beginning. Together, we’re uplifting voices that have been silenced and growing a network rooted in care, justice, and true liberation.
